Yellow Bourbon is an elegant Brazilian arabica variety, and this lot from Fazenda Jangada delivers a flavourful, balanced and clean cup. The coffee is grown at around 1150 metres above sea level and is naturally dried, which brings a round sweetness and a pleasant fruity character.
In the cup you get a sweet aroma with hints of honey. The flavour is long and clean, with notes of caramel, hazelnut and brown sugar. A medium, citrusy acidity adds freshness and balance, while a light fruitiness and a creamy body give the coffee a smooth, elegant finish.
